The absolute worst food I’ve EVER had! I was charged for 4 fish (per the menu). It’s actually 1 fish cut into 4’s. It didn’t matter because it was disgusting! Along with the soggy fries and grease soaked hush puppies. The new owners need new cooks. No seasoning what so ever!
RUDE STAFF Me and my friend went there today to grab our brunch. Then when I was paying my bill, (The Square ), there’s a pop up box that asks if I want to have a bonus point from them, so I clicked NO. because I rarely go there. Then, suddenly the square froze. She don’t know what to do. (which is understandable) But hey, SHE YELLED THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE DELAYED BECAUSE I BROKE THE THING!!!! People were staring at us, and I felt so humiliated. Like is it my fault? YOUR CASH REGISTER NEEDS A REBOOT! Why blame a customer? Not to mention that I also saw her touching one of the dessert called “Karioka “ with her bare hands and ate it, while fixing my food! The management has to do some refreshment on how to deal/treat customers, as I notice that there are couple “RUDE STAFF” reviews here!
Staff is VERY RUDE. There was an established line. The staff let several people cut in front of us. Because they could ask for in Tagalog/Filipino. Take in mind, we were ahead of them in line, we preordered our food, and prepaid ahead of time with a scheduled pick up. I voiced my concerns to the staff, but they simply ignored me. I was not alone in this treatment there were two other Americans that were getting passed over. One person was at the very front of line. If you DO NOT speak Tagalog/Filipino the staff treat you like trash. I have frequented the establishment several times with my parents that were born in the Philippines. It was a completely different experience. I was treated sub standard on this occasion. My parents fought hard to make it in America. Just for this establishment to use the same bigotry on us that was placed on my parents. Because we are not native Tagalog speakers. I WILL NEVER go to this Ihaw Ihaw again! I advise others to avoid them. Especially if you are American.
Everything is fresh, hot and ready. Good selection of dishes. Go for the barbecue on stick. They usually have adobo, menudo, sinigang na baboy, nilagang karne, dinuguan. For desert, there are various glutinous rice sweets like suman, biki. Also puto, cuchinta and bibingka.
