This reviews purpose is not to affect the establishment, but to warn the real Latinos and people of African descent, that this is not a true genuine Puerto Rican or Cuban restaurant. Don't let the name fool you. This restaurant/bar seems to only cater to locals. When I walked in with my wife and two daughters at 6pm, I was told to not bother to wait because they close at 9pm. That to me seem very weird as I have never heard of any establishment needing 3 hours to prep for another customer or anyone needing 3 hours to dine. As a Afro-Latino from NYC, the first thing that came to mind was all the rumors of discrimination and racism that unfortunately still happen in places like Virginia. I wasn't angry but disappointed that my daughter's had to be exposed to this type of situation at such an early age. As for me and my wife, this is not our first rodeo, but the first in a long time.

The food was amazing. I enjoyed the grilled shrimp with rice and beans. My husband had the salmon which was the catch of the day. My son had the churrasco and the pork chops. We had the bread pudding for dessert my favorite and also the tres leches. Everything was so delicious. We will definitely be back.

I was there with my family and hungry. They refused to provide two courtesy cups. I would have gladly paid. The waitress was simply careless about my request.

Shout out to DANNY!! She was absolutely amazing. She explained different items on the menu, sat at the table with us and chatted, had a few laughs and shared a few stories. She told us the owner is from Philly, because I told her we were from Pennsylvania. The food!!!! Omg. He makes his own recipes etc. I had the seafood/chorizo paella, it was phenomenal. The margaritas were perfect, I would 100% visit again when we are in the area ❤️
