The restaurant feels fresh, new and clean.Both my husband and I ordered the fried seafood platter. Everything was delicious and plentiful. My take home box was full.All the seafood was crispy and not overly battered. I've never had hushpuppies as good. The coconut cake is light and full of flavor.An all around 5 star experience including the waitresses.Thank you so much.
It's a truck stop dinner without the trucks. Great tasty basic food at a very reasonable price. Ask for Augy.

OUTSTANDING CUSTOMER SERVICE and DELICIOUS FOOD!!!Nick's Raw Bar & Grill in Virginia Beach may be one of the best kept secrets for visitors!"Hats off" to the chef for cooking my fresh, fried oyster entree to perfection--everything on both my entree and my husband's was HOT and delicious; and my husband especially enjoyed the stewed tomatoes with his tender, grilled pork chops!In addition, thank you, CHRISTINE E (server), for providing professional, friendly, and genuinely caring, customer service during our first-time visit to Nick's. This is the kind of courteous service that I have come to expect when visiting Virginia Beach restaurants, and we will be back the next time we're in the area!

Nicks Raw Bar & Grill was recommended to us by the hotel we stayed in while visiting Virginia Beach. Great recommendation for dinner (fried flounder and shrimp) and breakfast. Dined on March 9th (dinner) and again on March 10th (breakfast).HUNTER was our server for dinner. A friendly, smiling, extroverted young lady who offered recommendations that were excellent choices. Hunter's service with a smile was perfect and appreciated by other customers as well. She recommended that we return the following morning for breakfast and we are glad we did. We will return to Virginia Beach and to Nick's for their food but especially to enjoy Hunter's company.Don't visit Virginia Beach without dining at Nick's and meeting Hunter.

Food is pretty basic but if you ask for something extra toasted it is always burnt and they expect you to eat it. The last time I was in I could see the cook in the kitchen from where I was sitting. He was handling food without wearing gloves. He was putting bacon and sausage on plates with his bare hands. I almost got sick as I had already eaten my breakfast by the time I saw this unsanitary behavior. I haven't been back since and will not return again.

Though not as bright as in the photos, the ambiance was very nice. The food was excellent and the service was outstanding. I had the hush puppies and the blackened salmon sandwich, delicious!! Parking was a breeze, right next to the B&G.

Awesome food, chill atmosphere and friendly service. What can I say, the scallops were delicious the fries are some of the best around and just the relaxing vibe the place gives is nice. Cool paintings on the ceiling and plenty of seating both indoor and outside. Right across the way is Aloha Snacks, also a excellent stop for some fresh poke bowls etc very highly recommended are both this place and across the street, can’t go wrong either way! ?

Sat at the bar, since there were no tables open, our server was great, despite how busy she was. The food was very good, came out fast and the prices were excellent. Very good, bloody mary. We will definitely go back.
