I’m originally from San Diego and have been looking for something to fill that San Diego Mexican food gap in my soul. Overall the food here is probably 4/5. It will work for when I’m craving SD Mexican. However everything besides the food is what I’m complaining about. Not once in my 20 some years of living in SD has someone tried to charge me for salsa. Not only did they try to charge me but the female employee was extremely rude to me about it....

Corn in a cup was not good at all, you could tell it was not fresh corn because it tasted rubbery, they didn't bother to strain the water out so the mayo and hot Cheetos didn't really blend well with the corn. I also had the classic tacos, and even though the taco was stuffed with meat it was dry and not much toppings on the taco as well and was given very small limes to go along with. Menu was great and the portions were amazing as well! Quite a bit pricey though. Got a surf and turf style burrito and it ended up being close to 25$ for just the burrito. But the meal was still really good!
