The view at Orion's is as ATA's you'd guess. From what I saw I don't think there is a bad view. Make sure you make a reservation and you are on time. They validate 2 hours of parking and have valet for $7. We waited for a table at the bar and the bar tenders were great. The drink I got was too sweet for me it had a rice wash and rum. I can't remember the name. If you like sweet “beach” drinks I'd recommend it. Our server, nice enough but barely checked on our table. He was helpful helping me pick between two dishes but only came to our table 5 times the whole night: initial hi, took order, checked on food (20 mins after it came), check requested, checked returned. I really wanted a glass of wine with my meal. I didn't order it initially because I was finishing my cocktail. Since he don't return until 20 minutes after our food came it was too late to order wine. Stunning Views, Mixed Service The view at Orion's is exactly what you'd hope for—breathtaking and expansive. From what I saw, there isn't a bad seat in the house. Definitely make a reservation and arrive on time. They validate two hours of parking, and valet is available for $7, which is a nice touch. We waited for our table at the bar, and the bartenders were fantastic—friendly and attentive. I ordered a cocktail with a rice wash and rum (wish I remembered the name). It was too sweet for my taste, but if you enjoy tropical, beach-style drinks, you might love it. Our server was polite but fairly absent throughout the evening. He helped me choose between two dishes, which I appreciated, but only stopped by five times: to greet us, take our order, check on the food (20 minutes after it arrived), bring the check, and return with the payment. I had hoped to order a glass of wine with my meal, but since he didn't come back until long after the food was served, it felt too late to ask. Overall, Orion's delivers on ambiance and bar service, but the table service left something to be desired. I'd
You are paying for the fantastic view and decor which we enjoyed. Food portions were very small but presentation lovely. Going once to check it out was enough for us!
They were out of several things advertised on the menu. Happens. What we ordered was good. One thing I could understand but no warm sake? Server was pleasant but painfully slow. I saw her visiting another table for about ten minutes while I waited and waited. We waited for her attention the entire evening and her lack of professionalism kinda ruined what we hoped would be an elevated experience. Won't be back. This is because the service was pretty lousy. I did tip but below 20% which I never do. The view was pretty.
Good food, Caesar could be chopped a bit more, needed some pepper.... Cocktails over the top expensive... Portions generous Amazing views
We enjoyed our time at the bar and the restaurant. We ordered some specials of the day and they did not dissappoint. Katie our server was helpful and friendly. We had a great time.
A wonderful experience on the terrace. Very atmospheric place with great service. Our waiter Jackson (I hope I got the name right, maybe Jason) made the evening even more special
The vegetarian roll was outstanding when I bought it one month ago, but tonight it was quite mediocre. Very different vegetable roll and not nearly as good.
Although I had really high hopes for an elevated dinner experience I was disappointed with the timing of our dinner. Entrees were brought out within minutes of our appetizer which really ruined our experience. It's a beautiful space and we did enjoy our dinner but it felt rushed.
Beautiful experience all around! Unfortunately, we did not get to see the sunset due to weather, but it was beautiful and food was very tasty!
Beautiful setting. Make sure to make a reservation and ask for a window seat. Serivce was very good. Food was not as good as last year. ORION'S CHICKEN PAD THAI is my go to. It was a little dry. My wife's COCONUT CURRY CHICKEN SOUP was good but more spicey than in the past. In the past, the GRILLED CORN ELOTE was on the cob. This visit it was more of a patty that included edamame. It was not the traditional grilled corn elote that is typically: Grilled corn on the cob Slathered with mayonnaise or crema Rolled in cotija cheese Sprinkled with chili powder (like Tajín) Finished with lime juice This is the dish we loved from past visits.

Beautiful view. Excellent food. House wine ($25 a glass) was overpriced and I am used to high prices. The wine was ok and just barely 4 ounces. Having stated that, I acknowledge that the appeal and taste of wine is very individual. Staff and all members of the team were very attentive. I would return, and drink hot tea.
The view is absolutely amazing the atmosphere is great, that being said the food is just so so. I wouldn't eat here again. I was there for a birthday celebration for a coworker at lunchtime. Its not somewhere I could enjoy with my husband just because of the food choices. If you don't like sushi or fish there's not many options to accommodate. Everyone in our party said the food was just ok. The prices were reasonable and you do get a nice portion size.
Celebrating my Girlfriend's Birthday. Beautiful venue, great ambiance, and lovely service. Definitely pricey, especially the lobster, which is overpriced. However, the duck confit was spectacular(under priced IMO). Definitely a must go for Virginia Beach. I will come again during more peak summer time for that extra sunset view.
Im so happy we got to go here for my boyfriend's birthday, we came from ohio. Definitely worth it, the food and view was great. Staff was very friendly.
Beautiful setting, the view of the ocean was so relaxing. Food, drinks and service were all good and quality control was of utmost importance and they were eager and helpful to make things better.
