My wife and I went for our anniversary dinner. We made reservations at the last minute, and there was only a 10:15pm slot available. But we showed up at 7:45 and was seated in the dining room (which is a must vs being seated at the bar window table) by 8:20. Our food was great, (I had the branzino (chefs kiss), and I forgot what my wife had cause my food was so good. When our server realized it was our anniversary, she surprised us with a complimentary champagne toast and the Krispy Korean dessert.
I recommend this place. My only suggestion is get a reservation early enough to be seated and enjoy the beach views before it gets dark.

Amazing view, atmosphere, and service. Get seated in Katie's group if you can; she knows everything and takes pride in tailoring each person's experience. The cost is a bit much? But presentation and infrastructure make up for it. Not a casual dining experience (but I did go, as did many others, in VB issued flipflops.... They were nice ones), perfect for an anniversary, celebration, etc. Wouldn't take my toddlers, but will definitely be taking my spouse next time.

Reservation only, upscale (even though you'll see people in beach attire), and very nice on the inside of this 23rd top floor restaurant. The food was very good. The portions were a bit small for my taste but the presentation was outstanding. The view is the biggest draw for everyone that visits Virginia Beach. There aren't too many places where you can overlook the beach from this height, especially with the military restrictions on building height. This place will cost quite a bit for its Asian inspired cuisine. I took my wife there to celebrate her birthday and the celebration with two appetizers, one cocktail, one cocktail, one glass of wine, and two entrees racked up $170 before the tip. The desserts looked good but we chose to pass for a walk on the beach and some shopping.

Had dinner here due to all the reviews. We sat outside at a fire pit. There's not a lot of counter space out there, but we made it work. The atmosphere was great and the food was good

Our meal would have been great if our server wasn’t too busy hanging out with the other tables. We were sat and about 45 minutes goes by. I noticed a waiter spending an unnecessary amount of time at one table. I said I hope this guy isn’t our waiter he’s just over there kicking it. Well he was and he said he was the number one server. However, he sat at other people’s tables and played with his phone. Then my friends appetizer took extra long to come out. Meanwhile our server was really busy hanging out with the other table now. As an afterthought they finally graced us with my friends appetizer. After everyone else was done with theirs. Finally our waiter was done hanging out with his friend for now and we had the opportunity to order our dinner. Waters never got refilled and I practically had to beg and plead for a refill on my beverage. What was our server doing? I’m glad you asked. Hanging out with the first table when we got there. Food comes out. Pretty decent other than the filet wasn’t as good as the one we got from Texas Roadhouse last week. Then it’s check time. No Togo was offered but splitting our checks was a problem. Granted it is a policy there but we weren’t asking to split it 15 ways. Just three. When my girlfriend said it didn’t say anything about it on the websight the waiter rudely decided it was time to teach her how to read the fine print on a menu. Horrible service and management did nothing but offer up excuses and give me some BS card with VIP service. What I want to be ignored in style? No thanks. Do better when you charge the price you charge.

I love everything about Orions Roof! The staff, they are so kind and professional. The atmosphere and vibes are top notch. I love watching the sun go down over the beach, it's so pretty. The food and drinks are always amazing as well. I always enjoy my time here. I had dinner with my husband at Orions last night after a really tough week at work. It was the best way to end the week. I can't say enough about this place.

A little overpriced. The atmosphere was nice and the highlight. It was fairly busy, but bustle did not take away from the experience. The customer service was okay. The food was quiet warm, which was disappointing because we waited a long time.

Great experience! Good service and great food. We had a table right by the window overlooking the ocean. The only issue was the AC vents were dripping water from the ceiling - I assume due to the heat wave.

It was my bfs late birthday celebration. And it was our first time dining in here. It was a great experience for both of us. We both love the food and specially the view. Thank you to the server who helped us very nice and to the lady manager good customer service. 💖💖
Great experience and food! Reservation was honored on time, but ensure you request in your reservation that you wish to be seated next to the windows if you would like the view. The server was fantastic and made us feel so welcome. The A/C was struggling because of the extreme heat we are having, is probably the only reason I did not give 5 stars. We will go and enjoy dinner there again.
Orion's Roof was fantastic from start to finish! The Duck Confit Egg Rolls, Wagyu Tataki, Sushi, and Filet were absolutely amazing! The filet was seared to absolute perfection! We ordered the chocolate cake (can't remember the entire name) and it was delicious! They made our anniversary dinner truly memorable! The service was excellent too, a true team out on the floor, from servers to managers to I believe the sommelier were clearly working together throughout the restaurant throughout the night, as I'm sure was also the case in the kitchen based on the fantastic food they put out. I would highly recommend Orion's Roof for a nice celebratory dinner!
Exceeded my highest expectations and rave reviews! The menu selection was inventive and fresh. Great choices and excellently prepared food. The view as was the vibe were exceptional. Our server, Erin W. was genuine, extremely helpful and I would go out of my way to have her by our server again. Next time back in the area, this will always be our first stop.
This restaurant had spectacular views! It's Miso Cod was very flavorful, which I enjoyed! The rest of our party got the scallops, Cesar salad and soup. The salad and soup were a great pick but the scallops did not impress. Overall, we would come back, and try different options!
