We booked this restaurant on APRIL 12TH for a NOVEMBER reception dinner. And this establishment let us know ONE WEEK prior to the event that they would be closed. Never have I ever seen such poor customer service. If you need to book an event - just don’t. It’s not worth the headache.

I have never encountered customer service as poor as this in my entire life. We were supposed to book this establishment for a significant party event, and the managers/owners initially agreed to this arrangement. However, at the very last minute, they abruptly decided to close the restaurant, leaving us in a state of utter devastation.

We had a reservation and arrived on time. Saturday night at the waterfront... This place is empty. And they make people wait. The service was beyond slow. Our food came and we had no place settings. Maybe a victim of the labor shortage... But mediocre food and absent server. Orders came out wrong. Scampi came with two kinds of pasta. For 18 dollars should not be random noodles.

Five stars for Oscars! I came here for dinner with my family of 7. We made reservations and got seated on the porch with a wonderful view. I ordered the bone in pork chop and my wife got the crab cake. Both were delicious 😋 For dessert we got their chocolate cake and it was very moist and rich! They easily accommodated my son and frequently checked on us. I couldn't have asked for a better dinner experience with my family.

Date and time we visited: 09/22/2024, 8:00 pm. So we came to this restaurant expecting great service and great food. So the service was terrible. Bartender was our server. She was conversing and laughing with 2 people at the bar while we waited for our food. My husband and I both ordered a garden salad with ranch dressing and main course, the alfredo. Salad came out with our alfredo. The dressing was watery with a sour taste. The alfredo was a very very small portion, with no real flavor. I wish i had taken a picture of the size. It tasted as they took pasta and put vegetable oil on it. Our total bill came to $62.32 because we paid with a card. I know they are going to say this is standard charge, but I know that MOST places do not put this charge on their bill. Went to the ladies restroom: Door #1 did not lock. Door #2 was clogged to the top. Door#3 had out of order sign. Door # 4 I could finally use. I can tell you I will never recommend this establishment. Nor will I ever eat here again.

The food was great. The server was very inexperience. There were many issues. Some of them: Our Hors d'oeuvre came out before our drinks. We got our silverware and napkins after the Hors d'oeuvre came out. We asked for lemon for the water when we ordered our drinks and still had to ask for it 3 times. The atmosphere felt more like a fine diner than fine dining. Silverware was clean, but antiquated.

I use to love this restaurant. Every time I would come to va I would eat here at least once, however this time I was surprised to find that it is under new management. The ambiance is completely different. The service is horrible. After 15mins of sitting at our table and not being greeted by our server we decided to go to the bar thinking it would be better it wasn’t. The bartender continued to walk away from the bar to do I don’t know what. I asked for a frozen drink and was told “we don’t have a blender, it broke and the manager won’t buy a new one because it’s end of season”. The menu has changed, the food was dry and inedible. When we got the check we paid in cash but when we got our change we were only given back the amount as if we paid with credit. So disappointing. Will not go back.

Went for dinner today and the restaurant was literally 1/4 full. Hostess said "I think we are only doing reservations". You think? Your the hostess you should know. Asked if we can make a reservation and told no. As we were leaving a guest looked pretty mad, was with family and asked to see manager immediately. Guess we dodged a bullet.

Came here for appetizers and some drinks. Great ocean view. Phenomenal service, our waitress was very attentive to our needs. The appetizers were good. Crab dip could have more crab, it was too soupy for our liking. Everything else was delightful. Definitely try this place out if you want ocean breeze and the spot across them had a band playing while we were eating so it was win win with a great view. You can choose to eat inside or outside (recommend eating on their deck).
A nice restaurant right on the boardwalk! Nice atmosphere ! Live band was playing across the way! Food is really good, but a tad pricy. We had the Mahi Mahi, and a side of the real rubberized mushrooms, and some new fangled anchovie Caesar salad. The fish tasted like a block of deer salt that Bambi would have had to get up at midnight to pee, and a bit parched! Lay off the salt and bit! Our server, was Jade, nice and just maybe a bad night but not the most attentive today, but she was nice. It was slow for a Wednesday. But “Hannah Montana” was a great server who greeted us with a smile at the door, and was super nice to help us!

Beautiful restaurant and oceanfront view while dining. Staff was friendly and food was delicious. Service was a bit slow for drinks and food but luckily we weren’t in a rush. Would definitely return!
