Sooo good. Can anyone really complain about donuts?! Especially craft/specialty donuts! We actually ordered donuts for our wedding dessert! Todd was great to work with and patient as I decided amongst the hundreds (it seems) of flavors they have. We picked the donuts up the day of our wedding and they were a huge hit with our guests. We had just a few leftover for breakfast the next morning and they were still yummy. Definitely recommend!

Was my first time stopping in and boy I wasn't disappointed!!! The customer service is out of this world and the owner is such a sweetheart!! You can tell he cares about his business and his customers. Super helpful and fast service PLUS these little donuts are just the cutest things ever 🥹 we had the maple bacon, raspberry lemonade, fruity pebbles, Boston cream, s'mores, mixed berry cheesecake, dirt, and a few other I can't remember off hand, the kids were so excited I didn't get a pic of them all 😂 amazing presentation and the taste matches 🙌🔥 will absolutely be back for more!!!

You have to go here when in Virginia Beach. There's so many flavors. And they are so good. My puppy dogs really like the doggie donuts they had.

If you enjoy a chaotic experience, this place might be for you. When you first walk in, they ask if you've been there before. If you say no, they'll give you a quick overview, but that's about it. If you look confused or need more help, don't expect much additional guidance. Their donuts are divided into categories, ranging from simple frosted varieties to those with crazy toppings. However, their dozens include a mix of basic donuts and ones with more elaborate toppings, which can be overwhelming. Overall, the experience felt disorganized, and they could do a better job of explaining things. Their pricing could also be more transparent.

Such a clean, cute and colorful shop! We stopped in for the first time today because we were in the area and were not disappointed. We were able to try a sample donut, and the “levels” and prices were explained upfront. We reviewed the many amazing flavor choices and chose a pack of six to try out. We loved the smaller size of the donut and flavors did not disappoint! We definitely will be back to try more in the future.

Overpriced tiny mediocre donuts

Donuts...simple...right? Let's establish that my expectations are created by earlier dough introductions. I'm from VA so naturally I"m a fan of the two "K"s. They set the bar. But to be very fair, I feel that bar can't be commuted to others...the cake vs fry preparation-changes everything right. Having said that, I'll try to keep my opinions open.
A day has passed and I can say, I really really like these donuts. Think for a minute - You may have been asked or felt on some days, how do I give myself a treat?
This was my first order from PLLD. BTW, I've become singed by the cost of living lately. Food, utilities, etc, - you understand. The size and cost of these little gems, hmmmmm. I thought about this for a while. But, the quality of these donuts kept coming back in my thoughts. By quality I mean, look at the pictures. These don't come frozen. There is an artist creating something special with each donut. I'm not saying other bakeries are rubbish. Each doughnut in my dozen was ART . I ordered online so I did not witness the creation. I was wondering if the appearance would be less on a different day assuming another baker was preparing.
Taste - each donut was memorable. Anyone that knows me, knows that apples and cherries are my favorite on anything. I had those toppins in my order but sitting here writing this review, I am definitely craving another nutter butter. PLLD are bold enough to offer PBJ. I've thought about why this flavor is not usually offered at bakeries. I figured they simply fear customers may wake-up. "Wait a minute, I've got bread, jelly,..."
I'll end here. Treat yourself or better- someone to want to impress. Visit Peace, Love, and Little Donuts.
