Absolutely the BEST pizza I have ever had! The crust, sauce, toppings were literally cooked to perfection! If you are wondering whether or not you should try it? I promise you that you will not regret it!
While I’ve dined here numerous times over the years and never been disappointed but today absolutely takes the cake. We had a flat tire and pulled into the shopping center where Pembroke Pizza happens to be located and while in the mits of all that Holly, who was opening the restaurant, noticed and brought out water and napkins to my poor boyfriend who was bearing the brunt of the labor. It was the most incredibly thoughtful and kind gesture that I’ve seen...
I stopped eating here back in 1995 after the previous owner’s brother-in-law (and younger brother) was tragically murdered in 1994 at a bar on Witchduck Road. Four people lost their lives that night. It was absolutely devastating for our whole community. The owners understandably stepped back, and I personally couldn’t bring myself to return. We lost a really cool guy, and it broke my heart to see the sadness his sister carried while she worked there.
