Pieoneer Pizza (VB Blvd & Thalia Rd)

Subway-like design to making your pizza. They don't mind doing half on one side, etc. And great prices, $18 for a large that easily fed two. They also have weekday deals. Definitely check it out.

So I've been to a number of these create your own pizza joints, and most of them seem the same. They might have the ability to cater to different dietary interests and what not, but you usually get the same basic product. Pieoneer went a little farther with a wide variety of sauces (including tomato vs marinara sauce) and dough that gets stretched in front of the customer. Awesome pizza deal for lunch. $5.95 for two slices and a drink and it is QUICK! I got myself pepperoni and loaded it up with some red pepper flakes and garlic. Pizza is a little floppy but that's because the crust is thinner and these slices are bigger than average (which I think is a good thing) I only grabbed one sprite even though what I got comes with two drinks so the manager said go ahead and grab a bottle of water....
