Sal’s NY Slice Pizzeria the Original HQ

We tried the Meat Lover Calzones and Strombolis, and they were absolutely delicious! The flavors were spot on, with plenty of filling and gooey cheese baked inside perfectly golden crust. The portion sizes were huge — even the regular size was more than enough to share.

The customer service was also excellent. Everyone was super friendly and made us feel welcome. Great food, generous portions, and perfect service — can’t ask for more. We’ll definitely be back!

It couldn’t have been any better! Honestly, this was the most amazing meal I’ve ever had at a restaurant. The service was outstanding, and the staff were not only friendly but went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. The food portions were way larger than I expected, absolutely delicious, and at a very reasonable price. The place has a beautiful design as well. I was just visiting this city on a trip and chose this place for lunch—if I lived here, I would come every single day!

Was on vacation from Jersey so I had to do some research on pizza down there. Over all it was pretty comparable to Jersey Pizza crust was so so but thats expected from Jersey pizza people. Like getting lobster roll in Texas it’s just not the same as the New England area.
Overall it was solid.

This has become my go to pizza place. I live in the neighborhood so it’s real easy to get to. The issue I’ve had is that every time I order, I order the same thing and every time the price is different. Sometimes it’s $22 , sometimes it’s $25, sometimes it’s $19. Yesterday it was $29. We always order an 18 inch pepperoni pizza with extra cheese. Now the price roulette as we call it isn’t usually an issue, but yesterday it was cause definitely didn’t have extra cheese after I just paid the most I’ve ever paid for the same pizza at the same place. The consistent inconsistencies is making me feel it’s time to search for another pizza place sadly.

Sal’s NY Slice Pizzeria at 5604 Princess Anne Rd

It was early Sunday in the afternoon and this pizza place caught my eye while driving by.
I figured why not get a pizza slice.
I was welcomed with a clean and neat interior with simple chairs and tables with blue, well designed, covers and a friendly woman working the register.
After asking for a menu, I saw they offered a lot more than your popular Italian pie.
So, I didn't ask for a slice. I got the Fettuccine Alfredo with shrimp and broccoli instead.
My salad that it came with was fresh complete with red onions, green peppers, croutons, and crisp lettuce which was not at all soggy. Of course, I had to have ranch with it.
The Alfredo pasta was almost authentically perfect with the sauce made from parmesan according to the nice woman. I added more parmesan from the shaker which contributed a more powdered texture to my meal. The sauce was rich and creamy. The shrimp was tender and the broccoli added a soft crunch. I liked it! You can tell the meal had this homemade charm and it tasted like it. It was quite good!
The soft bread was delicious with a punch of garlic and butter but not too overwhelming. It was not brittle or dry and it was tasty!
Overall, a nice charming takeout or sit down place where you can enjoy a delightful meal guaranteed to leave you full!

Ordered from here multiple times, lady at the front is great, always but ordered 1 slice pepperoni pizza and it did not look, nor taste the same, may have gotten a slice that was reheated but I can't go back. Maybe another location.

Ordered through Uber Eats. They forgot to send a pizza i ordered with the other items. Called the restaurant and they refused to deliver my pizza. Very rude and nasty lady on the phone. She said it wasn't her problem. Note to Owner: I did not receive any private message from you. Please train your employees on how to properly handle orders. I had to go elsewhere for additional food the other night because you wouldn't deliver my missing food to me.

Had great pizza shortly after work and it was the perfect experience overall. The pizza was amazing and the crust was really good too (I prefer some crunch and it delivered 👍🏾). The fries were also amazing and I'm glad that they had already included ketchup as well. The amount of pizza was great especially for the low prizes that they offer. Would definitely eat again, and already plan on doing so!

Completely disorganized and dismissive.

Standing around 25-30 minutes for a pickup is the norm here. No communication, no urgency, just blank stares and excuses. It's not a one-time issue-it's a pattern. If this is their standard, it's clear they don't value the people keeping their business afloat.

This place has zero regard for drivers' time.

Waiting 20 plus minutes for an order to be cooked- without updates or accountability or reliable timeframes, isn't just inefficient, it's negligent. Time is money, and they'r burning both. If this is how they treat the people moving their food, imagine how they run the rest of the operation. Horrible!
