Surf Club Ocean Grille

I enjoy this restaurant for location, scenery, convenience, and food. Maybe install some fans outside to keep the flies away. But the overall ambiance is nice. Being able to walk to breakfast with your family in the morning is wonderful. Having a happy hour while you stay is equally enjoyable!

Hard to give any decent rating!! The service was terrible and the waitresses could care less if you’re there or not. Never go there again!!!

Please come check this place out. We had the best server named guy who was on point order was all placed correctly. Drinks were brought out immediately and food was also delicious and within a timely manner best service all around. It’s also nice when you sit and enjoy a meal with a humor server highly recommend you stopping at this place if you’re in the area.

I would say that it was the best experience I had. The food was amazing, service was excellent I loved our server Guy. I would say overall it was the best.

Really nice place to spend an afternoon by the beach. If you’re a guest at the hotel, you have access to the pool and the deck. If you’re walking in off the street or the boardwalk, you can just come on in and have a drink. It was a really good musician named SkipFriel. I was performing and I hear they have music three or four times a week during the summer. Big screen TV is for your favorite sports and the prices are pretty reasonable for the boardwalk.

Food was great and outgoing atmosphere! Wait staff was friendly and prompt!

This is my first trip to Virginia Beach. Tonight we stopped into our hotel restaurant and bar. The seating hostess was amazing. I did not catch your name. (Sorry)She was very attentive and we had very little wait.. there was a live band playing tonight they were really good!! We had a server by the name of Kaitlynn (spelling? Sorry) Kaitlynn was amazing. She took the time to sit down and talk with us about the Neptune festival, currently going on this weekend and where to visit, and what attractions and nightlife we can enjoy. We had so much fun tonight. PLEASE stop by here… take care of your bartender and waitstaff and be prepared to have fun… j

We tried this place twice, first time we ordered food (you could find better if you walked only 5 minutes in either direction) we came back to grab some drinks at the bar and waited 30 minutes before I had to stop a server and ask if we could order any drink. I’m sitting here writing this, still no drink because the server I asked can’t serve alcohol. I had an hour lunch break, there’s only 5 minutes left so you do the math

So much potential but falls short because of the building's age.
