Fantastic experience every time we go, but this recent visit was above and beyond. They made my guest feel exceptionally special as we celebrated her bachelorette with a toast of Prosecco. Throughout the evening, everyone from the hostess to the servers congratulated her and it brought tears to her eyes. Service is always phenomenal; everyone has a smile and seems genuinely proud to work there. Cannot say enough good things about this wonderful restaurant and it’s team.

On my list for our once a year foray to VB; food was great, atmosphere good too. European portions, LOL. We have grown used to leftovers & you will not have them here. Not a knock, just was hungry later & we had 2 apps & 3 entrees for 3 ppl.

Terrapin is one of my "must go" eateries. Very welcoming atmosphere and elegant appearance. I have been here several times. Always greeted with smiling faces. Once I visited on a busy evening, no reservation, and I was seated very quickly. Staff is always exceptional. Table service is excellent. Servers are knowledgeable, attentive, and very personable. Food looks marvelous and is delicious. Last trip, I had a salad, 6 oz steak, and tiramisu for dessert. Enjoyed every bite.

I was a little disappointed with their new beet salad. I preferred the old one instead. Their ciabatta bread was amazing and so was the butter. My cosmo martini was excellent. The pasta NC shrimp with lemon butter sauce had a delicate light taste and I enjoyed it. The chocolate pudding I had isn't the same I tasted two years ago. It was good but not amazing. I appreciate not having to listen to blaring music as I ate. My server was a sweet lady and Brian the manager is the perfect gentleman. I will try again in the summer.

We had dinner at Terrapin last Saturday evening with another couple. We had a reservation and were seated quickly upon arrival next to the front door. When we asked for a different table, the hostess informed us that all the other open tables were reserved. I assume the next time we go to Terrapin we need to reserve a specific table. Not the greatest start. Our server was great, drinks came quickly. The entrées were superb. Tasty and well presented. The culinary team did an outstanding job. When it came to dessert, our server promoted the Pastry chef's product, trained in Paris, France. Sad to say that the dessert was disappointing.

from the minute you walk in, the customer service and attention to detail is phenomenal. The drinks were amazing. The appetizers were delicious. Entrees all sounded so good; we opted to split two. Our server had the kitchen split them and serve at two different times to pace the meal... perfect. If you are a dessert person... the chocolate pudding with sea salt paired with their red dessert wine is a must. Overall... highly highly recommend.
Excellent restaurant. Nice atmosphere, “resort casual.” Welcoming staff and friendly, personable servers. Filet mignon cooked to order: medium rare, perfect! Seafood well prepared. Duck breast looked beautiful. Food was great!

Best dining experience we’ve had in a VERYYYY long time. Terrapin completely knocked it out of the park. Our server was kaitlyn (sp). She orchestrated the most amazing night for us. We had the fruit punch drink, oysters, crispy tuna crudo, filet, duck breast, Cappuccinos, and the goatcheese desert with lavender soup was so good we ordered another one. Thank you Terrapin!!!

We didn't know about their amazing happy hour until this past Friday. $10 half pasta portions were perfect size for sharing a few and were delicious. Half off bubbles was a nice surprise as well. We'll be back!

Terrapins is still a great eating spot - the menu and ambience are more casual than in years past. We shared 3 appetizers and a pasta which was plenty. Good service. Miss a few of the touches like chocolate terrapins!

Food it was not that great no flavors quantity is so low. if you want to eat very bland food yes that could be a good choice but if you need some good flavors, good tasty food, I would not recommend.
