Visiting The Bee & The Biscuit for brunch is an absolute necessity when we're in Virginia. Such a special, fun atmosphere with fantastic food and service. The outdoor bartender who has been there for years made my kiddos a makeshift virgin Pina colada they had been wanting as we waited for a table and they loved it. Wow! The Bee & The Biscuit is an amazing place. I hate we don’t live closer so we can visit more. We stopped by for a quick brunch and got so much more than we ever thought! You can tell immediately when you put the food in your mouth the freshness of ingredients. Everyone-even my never satisfied teenager- said her food was delicious. Thank you for a great atmosphere and yummy food!
We have been to this place a number of times since we moved to VB about 10 years ago. It always amazed us how they were so busy. Sure, the setting is quaint, and the food is fine, but certainly not gourmet or anything luxurious. We really don't care much for the mandatory "valet" parking, the somewhat cramped seating inside and that, unless you show up right at 7am when they open, you have to wait a considerable time on weekends.
