I had to drive about 25 minutes to get there. My wife really wanted soul food. It was totally worth the drive. We had the pork chops, mac & cheese, and yams. It was all delicious. My only complaint was that there seemed to be nowhere to eat in. Regardless, we will go back.
I had the smothered pork chop dinner. M&C was tasty. However, the p.chop were sooo tough, & the cabbage was too salty for my taste. & Who doesn't give an option of bread w/the meal/dinner?!
I have been coming here for 4 years and always have a great time with friends or even solo . The food is always great too ! The original soul food restaurant has the best soul food in the 757 area.
