We absolutely love love love this place. I used to work on restaurant equipment and did some work at this place and tried this brisket and collards. And for a few years I couldn’t find this place shins. Until now and let me tell ya what!!! I’m in heaven. The best brisket known to humankind!!!!! And the collards!! Are amazing! Who am I kidding! Everything that I have had here so far is fit for a Royal Family. Highly recommend this place.
I arrived at 515. After I ordered I was informed that the restaurant closes in about 30 minutes. I received my items, and then at 530 the lady let everyone know that y’all close in about 30 mins. Felt a little rushed even though I would have been finished and gone by 6.

This will make my 3rd time eating from The Pig and it’s been good overall! I’ve tried a lot of their sides but I definitely want to see what other meats they have to offer.Today I got a 4 meat-4 side combo to go with; chose double pork bbq, dark meat grilled chicken, and brisket with macaroni and cheese, collard greens, coleslaw and baked beans. Everything was delicious but I wasn’t a fan of the brisket (too dry/overcooked) and the macaroni and cheese (had a slight spoiled taste) but I really enjoyed the greens and bbq chicken! Give this place a try and let me know how you like it ?

The fried okra with remoulade sauce was outstanding. Been getting food from here years! This sauce tasted good with my chicken and hush puppies also!
Small family run place. The young man at the counter is proud of his family’s business, and for good reason! On his recommendation I got the smoked chicken, paired with brisket and sides Mac and cheese and baked beans. The chicken especially was a stand out, perfectly cooked with a good smoke ring and incredible flavour. 10/10, all in our group of 5 loved it, I’ll definitely be back!
Absolutely worst experience other than the service. We got two 3 by 3, and everything was trash. Mac and cheese tasted sour and was super runny, ribs were super dry, tough and microwaved, pulled chicken like the ribs had an old microwave flavor, cornbread was bland, hush puppies were decent just too salty and over cooked and lastly the brisket was tough and tasted more like I was eating a low quality steak. I am highly disappointed and regret spending my money here.

Absolutely terrible. Pulled chicken DRY. Ribs DRY and most definitely were just microwaved. Greens beans way too salty. Instant potatoes taste better than these potatoes. And the Mac and cheese tasted like they came out of a bag. Worse BBQ I’ve ever had.
