Parents had a dinner reservation there. My dad ordered a coffee while waiting for their order. The coffee came in a cup with lipstick stains on it. When this was pointed out to the wait staff, all they said was "so sorry" and brought a different cup. Would urge everyone to think twice before coming to this overpriced and grossly unhygienic establishment.

After years of coming here on every holiday they started charging the person who makes the reservation for the entire party. Which at $77 per person for mash potatoes and eggs and some of the worse food is ridiculous. They would not refund her card and allow us to pay separately. I’m just at a loss for words. Never, ever coming back here.

The food that was prepared on Monday, March 4, 2024 @7:15pm-7:45pm was subpar. I was disappointed, this was a date night for us. The food quality and taste was not what I expected from previous visits.

The decor, ambiance, service a lovely, live piano music is outstanding! The buffet selection is great! The service impeccable. The two people I hosted were delighted and we will all be back!

It is always a delight to dine in the Swan Terrace! The service is excellent and the ambiance is wonderful. Unfortunately, though the buffet selections are outstanding, lately, the cooked good is barely lukewarm - sad because it is so tasty.

Servers should make "specials" clear. When the server told us the special was blackened trout she did not say it was just half a trout or as the manager later told us it was a 6 ounce trout. I and a friend who ordered it were disappointed when served. The manager did offer to make it right by giving us the "other half" which was too late. This "special" was not worth it for the price and had it been explained better I would have ordered something else. I will say that the "half trout" I had was good. Otherwise service was good and the ambiance was very nice. Maybe we'll give it another try sometime in the future. I did share our experience with several friends.

Did not want the buffet so ordered Chicken Caesar salad from menu. $15 for a small, small side salad size! Chicken was very dry, could not eat it. Very disappointed with this for we eat here quite often. Glad the company was worth the $35 left hungry salad.

I was not impressed with the menu food selection. Too many bar food items listed for what was supposed to be a more elegant dinning experience. Salmon offered was over cooked after requesting to be lightly cooked. Portion sizes we pleasant but sandwiches and burgers were not what I expected. The main entree menu consisted of 2 steak options, pork chop and salmon along with fried fish and fried shrimp. The ambiance and atmosphere was wonderful as was the service, just not what I expected over all from all they recommendations I had heard from others.

I have vomitted 5 times since eating here yesterday morning. It must have been the corn dog from the buffet. Other than food, service and atmosphere are great.

What a great place to come for lunch! For 18.95 you get a very nice buffet with all sorts of dishes/salads/soups/desserts to choose from. The ambience is also very old world colonial - outstanding - just beautiful. There are also lovely grounds to walk before or after lunch & as it was February there are cozy fireplaces to sit by & enjoy!
This place is what family dining used to be. Well lit, well seated, well furnished. A dignified atmosphere where family can come together and share a wonderful meal without screaming at each other and struggling to be heard. If you are looking for good steak, fish, seafood, or just something simple. This is your place!
