We were sat in a very plain side room due to a wedding. Water never refilled. Ordered Pasta bolognaise with "house made" bucatini. It was neither. I doubt they had an extruder for the pasta and it was too perfect anyway. The sauce was a watery unseasoned blend of tomato with chunks of left over meatballs. I sent it back and the waiter said he had to "check with the manager". The kitchen "admitted" it wasn't bolognaise and blamed upper management...
Our meal was delicious, and the entire evening was delightful! Our server, Joseph, was perfectly attentive, including taking my severe allergies to the chef, who created a wonderful (and safe!) meal for me. Bonus: the decor was beautiful!
The hostess, Samantha, was so polite and professional. That first impression and welcome, is huge. If you aren't greeted well, it will set the tone for the rest of the experience. She did a wonderful job. The food and atmosphere are great as well. Well done!
