Posted hours say they open at noon on Saturday, but we arrived at 12:15 and the door was locked. Thought maybe they are only open seasonally, but the answering machine lists open hours including Saturdays. Was hoping to do a tasting and give a real review, maybe next time. Please update your information.
4 stars for the wine, 5 stars for the service. A Saturday night, but only a couple of tables were full at any time. I sat at the bar and the bartender was super friendly. After trying their reserve tasting she was able to recommend another wine to try which ended up being my second favorite wine of the night. If you're in the area and haven't been to the Williamsburg Winery it's worth a stop. They have a charcuterie board available and while I didn't try it...
The Williamsburg winery wine bar was exquisite. The white and red wine flights were outstanding, as well as mysterious, as the wine selection is hidden until your palete is awaken by the cheese and wine board which extenuating each individual wine. The service is excellent and establishment is very clean. It is a must see when you are in Virginia.
