To charge 10$ on a Monday before 8 is weird! The DJ was dope, mixing oldskool, reggae, and new stuff! The food is expensive but didn't look that good! They have been a grown and sexy go to for years but sometimes people get besides themselves when it becomes popular I never paid to go in there ever because I'm spending $60 at the bar or more! Now maybe because it was memorial Day weekend but in my opinion I wouldn't do it again

I have visited this establishment several times, but this last time, the owner was very nasty and rude, I don't want to spend money on anyone or their business if they're nasty like she was, it was packed to its capacity, but the way she told my guests to move,bc it was their first time there. It left a bad taste in my mouth.

First time. Last time. I felt unwelcomed and trying to find a seat on a Wednesday at 615pm was way too hard. Bartender eating popcorn while taking my order was a turn off. Where it went most wrong was taking an hour and a half to bring me a cheeseburger and fries. My time was totally and unapologetically disrespected. I saw the owner sit down to rest from hard work and ask the bartender if I was okay. The correct thing to do would have been talking to me and attempting to compensate me in some way. I'd rather not drink alcohol on an empty stomach so I was not able to benefit from happy hour drink prices. I tipped and then I took my tip back because no one fought for me. This place is meant for extremely patient regulars.

Security guards being aggressive it's like they are waiting for a reason to get into a altercation I went out last night for my brother's birthday woke up the next morning and 3 to 4people had the same feeling about the security guard remember this is a place of Celebration not a prison camp or Correction Facility.they doing to much out there for no reason have some respect for people who give you a job to even be working.

This place would be phenomenal however, the DJ does not let the MUSIC PLAY! Like 45 seconds of a song and on to the next song...not even mixed in!!! I'm about to find a new place. Please you going LET THE MUSIC PLAAAYYY!!! Everything else is great.

I was persuaded to visit Tropical Delights by my fraternity brother, who was in town on vacation. I’m from the Northeast and have spent time in some very sophisticated clubs. Tropical Delights is different—it’s a down-home, comfortable spot that feels safe and friendly.
When I visited on Friday, August 15, 2025, I enjoyed delicious food and reasonably priced drinks that were full-strength, not watered down. This is a small club designed for a mature crowd who still enjoy dressing up and having a good time.
In many New York City clubs, you’re likely to see people wearing outfits that could be considered indecent exposure. I appreciated the relaxed yet well-dressed ladies and gentlemen at Tropical Delights. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, the DJ kept the energy just right, and the staff provided genuinely friendly service. I thoroughly enjoyed my experience and would gladly return.
First the waitress did not understand Spanish. I Mean when I ask for Arros con gandules she argued with me stating the that wasn't on the menu I asked to see the menu and should her she said oh Spanish rice. Then I asked for pork chops my grandson waited a cuben sandwich oh no she recommended sancoho well he stated he would try it. I asked me grandson did he know what he order he said no but she was cute. The she came to the table and stated no more pork chop and ask me what I wanted I asked for the menu another pork meal which came with a salad. The food came and looking at my grandsons face was priceless he looked at the soup grab a fork and started to jab the meat with a fork. OMG the soup had pig feet. I laughed felt sorry for him and even though I didn't really wanted we exchanged meals. My meal came with salad that I had to remind the server. I couldn't finish my soup and wanted to eat it later so I asked for a container for the soup she gave a Styrofoam container like for sandwiches I informed her that it was soup and she stated that's all they had. I would never go back or recommended any one and at under $80 dollars with out tip it was really bad

The bartender is rude, untruthful and has a horrible attitude with Owner allowing this behavior! I will no longer patronize this establishment. Makes for a hostile environment.

Love it. It’s always an amazing time and experience every time I frequent Tropical Delights. I normally go on Wednesdays for karaoke and Renee, Ali Rose, and DJ Dee never disappoint.

I love this place, music and food is great. My problem is the air conditioning. With a crowded business and selling hot food you need air conditioning. I was there Wednesday night and felt like I was about to pass out from the heat. Didn't finish my second class of wine due to the heat and me sweating. Them as business owners should make sure their customers are comfortable. I will not be going back there for a while, maybe the full when the heat is needed
