Have purchased fish, dips from this locally owned shop many times. Just tried 2 dips over weekend, whitefish dip perfect combo of fish mayo , Rockfish dip loved consistently however too heavy on pepper taste overpowered rockfish taste otherwise good . Owner (young) knows his customers. Lucky to have fresh fish so close to our home. Always buy local when possible is my motto. Welton's will not disappoint.
They had the crab legs we were looking for and after returning to North Carolina, the family demolished them lol! Price was competitive for the season. Can be a little tricky finding the spot so use your gps and drive slow. Gave them 4 stars because we had to wait until owner stopped gabbing with a customer he’d already served and us waiting for like 15 minutes for them to be done. Customer service could be better.
Carol and I stopped by to bring some fresh Seafood home as we were leaving the PIA Convention in Virginia Beach. The Seafood was fesh--like right off the boat! The flounder and grouper were large with lots of flaky white! We cooked it last night and it was Awesomely Delicious!
