The sushi is really good but the other stuff is just okay.

I did't like to eat there. Because in the picture say something diferente than the restaurant.

If I could give this place zero stars I would. I would bet anything that the reviews are mostly fake, family or friends. The only positive thing i could say about this place was that the waitress was pleasant. I should have listened to the other reviews that were not 4 stars because those are the real reviews. We were in town and wanted a place to have sushi and this was on the way to the beach and decided to stop after reading the sadly fake reviews. The food was cold, the sushi had a strong fish smell, the sashimi looked like tilapia and was not fresh at all. The chicken choices were terrible. Chicken was tough and dry. My daughter got a crab that was still raw in the middle and cold! Hibachi and the miso soup were the only decent food there. I felt like I got robbed paying over 70 for my daughters and I. This should have been a $10 charge per person because anything more is ripping people off. I'm surprised this establishment is still open and nobody has sued for food poisoning. Go to another place if you want even DECENT FOOD.

We went today today, a family of four and paid $115 dollars, which was the biggest waste of money. The food was cold when it had to be warm, the sushi was room temperature, the food was bland at best. I've never regretted a place more than this. The reviews are too generous. The one good thing was the coffee ice cream that they buy from an outside source. The smell as soon as you enter should have been our first red flag.

Good food for a buffet. Crab legs, a massive sushi selection, hibachi, every type of shrimp you can think of, plus all the traditional Japanese food you expect at a restaurant. The desserts are premade from a vendor and not good at all, but everything else is good. Crab legs and crawfish are only available at dinner (after 4pm).

We decided to come to this buffet as we couldn’t find anything else to eat. We were visiting VA beach for a few days.
We read the reviews of this place and thought it was a good place to eat with our children.
When my husband went to get hibachi, he got two plates, one for him and one for our children. My husband looks white but he is European and speaks perfect Spanish.
One of the cooks told the other in Spanish thinking my husband was not going to understand “este man no se llena” meaning this guy doesn’t get full. My husband was very humble to not say anything back at them but he felt bad about that comment. I was not going to stay quiet so I told one of the managers. I was very upset about this situation because we were having a bad experience at this place; the food was not good at all, some was old and dry.
I gave it a two star because desserts were ok. But food itself was very bad and service even worse!

Never coming back here again!!!!!

Came here with my family and had the dinner buffet. The crab legs were ice couldn't only the crab legs all the food was cold the only thing hot was the hibachi. My sister in law had 2 crab legs and didn't want to eat them after she bit into it and was cold and lost her appetite bc of it and still they did nothing about it. And charged her $25. Such a rip off and they star at u bc u make a complaint as well as walk pass you and smirk and laugh. Nasty place to eat not worth the money!!!

The food is honestly really bad and the habichi chicken tastes like seafood. The best part was the sweet tea and the waiter. Never coming back

Great selection of sushi. Was 5-stars our first visit, 2019. The next visit, 2023 was not very good but this visit, 2025, it's almost back to 5-stars. They lack the variety they used to have, most of the seafood is fried and very few side dishes. That said, it's a great value and you won't leave hungry.

I recently went here with my husband, We are new to the area and wanted to eat out, the food was amazing, it was a pleasant experience until the very last moment when we were paying the lady w blone hair demanded we tip her the top gratituity % , i was going to tip anyways but i was caught of guard since i have never been demanded gratituity from a server like that before, overall i found it very rude, unprofessional and made me uncomfortable, will never be coming here again
