Great food at fair prices Staff is very good

Delicious bacon wrapped water chestnuts (yes they were amazing!). Blackened flounder sandwich was so fresh and delicious!

Just the right place for a lovely anniversary lunch! Friendly service and gorgeous view by the water. We enjoyed blackened shrimp Alfredo and a burger. We will be back!

We typically take advantage of local's night on Thursdays. We're fans of their grits & shrimp which isn't on their standard menu. You can't beat the view! And Brionna is one of the BEST bartenders/servers!! She has an incredible memory for people's names & is always the perfect balance of so c isl & attentive. Highly recommend the Island House

My family(va), husband and I (nj) have been coming to the Island. House for many years. We have really enjoyed every meal we had. That is until this trip 6/23/25. We always had the fried oyster platter which was the best. We found out that the menu had changed and no longer served it. Although the fried oyster sandwich was okay it wasn't the same. Needless to say I do not think we will be coming back. We were also charged 4 dollars for 8 sweet potato fries. We will miss carol and Dana who made our trip from nj very enjoyable. What an amazing place! The staff was very welcoming and friendly! Had the calamari as an app, soft shelled crabs as my meal (phenomenal!!!) and the locally made smith island cake, which left me speechless!! Will definitely be back!

If I could give Island House catering 6 stars, I would. They catered my wedding and they killed it. Food was delicious, all the guests were so impressed. They took so much stress off of me in terms of logistics and details that I didn’t even think of. They made everything go so smoothly and their team was so professional and helpful. Hands down the best

I had lunch while I was in town for business. The crab cake sandwich was amazing! I sat at the bar and enjoyed the beautiful scenery. I believe the bartenders name was Carol. Carol was a very welcoming and lovely person. I’ll definitely be back!
