After a long drive, this place was a GODSEND! Delicious food! We are northerners so imagine our surprise when fresh-baked cornbread was delivered to our table!
Cream of Crab soup was delicious.
I had the chicken parm sub and added mushrooms. So affordable and tastey, and you could tell they bread the chicken in house.
My mom ordered the chicken and dumplings- she said it was good with homemade noodles!
Portions were big and we ended up taking them with us!

Fantastic place!! Huge menu and big portions. Definitely a place to go while hungry!!
Stopped here one other time and loved it enough to come back again good food good service. Highly recommend just get there early

Sage Diner is a very good restaurant in Onley, VA. The food is very good, well portioned, and flavorful. They serve a lot of food and literally spoil you. The breakfast comes out quickly and is excellent. The staff does an excellent job, going above and beyond. The servers are outstanding and amazing. The owner is always very pleasant. The staff is so friendly, so welcoming, and always acknowledges guests. They did a great job catering an event. Many reviews praise a specific server who is absolutely amazing, one of the nicest persons, pure sunshine, and the absolute best. He provides the utter most respect and care, and is a great server and waiter. The experience is a 10/10. People absolutely love this place and highly recommend it. They will definitely be back and keep coming back.
