“My husband and I had a most memorable dinner at Relish. Ms. Pearly is an artist. I've never eaten an oyster that was so perfectly shucked. My husband had grilled shrimp and grits that were so creamy. I had a delicious side salad with strawberries that was so fresh. Finally we split the strawberry shortcake that was light, airy and heavenly. Our waitress was superb. The owner graciously stopped by our table. Read about Ms. Pearly! “Coming from an Asian transplant from California where there’s really good ethnic foods — Hunan Village is legit Asian tasty good! The food is flavorful and the portions are really generous. And on top of that, the customer service is great! Brittany is so friendly and provides great service. The owners are super nice too. We’re definitely coming back here often”

“This local McDonald's has more or less what you want. The food is good and very friendly workers. There used to be a play place for kids, but they removed it due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The ice cream machine works, folks. ?”

“We stopped in by chance. It’s our 24th anniversary and wanted to try a new place. The wait staff was amazing! The food, I don’t have words. My husband has the short ribs and I had the seared tuna. It was absolutely perfect. 5 Star hands down! We ordered drinks, a crab appetizer (delicious) and the food was out in no time. Thank you for making our anniversary dinner a delicious one.”

“It is always a treat to into this place. The single scoop is enough for two people really, and it is tasty Hersheys brand. The real draw is the memorabilia for me though. Tons of carnival ride objects throughout the spacious seating area, and smaller interesting things throughout the entire store. There is an antique store associated with them across the street, but, on a Saturday anyway, closed at 1700. There was some cool stuff on the sidewalk that I would've picked up, but we arrived there at 1715! Thought maybe the ice cream employees might be able to complete the transaction, but alas no. Next time. Polite staff, and a whale of a good time to be had for those that enjoy a look back in time!
For those who have not been, Tappahannock is a really cool return to the days of small town America, and if you can time it the festivals that we caught were fun.”

“Have been wanting to stop by for a while to try the root beer.. it did not disappoint!! I actually like it way more than the stuff you buy at the stores... It was pretty dead when we visited. We were only greeted by our waiter (we didn't catch his name) all others didn't even offer up so much as a smile, just acted like we didn't exist. Our waiter was super friendly and gave recommendations on what drinks they offered and various activities they hosted throughout the week. He made sure to come check on us in timely manner and didn't leave us hanging. We will return and try to request him for future visits.”
