It is definitely the most luxury and upscale hotel in the area as we saw the rooms. We had dinner at the Pub which was very good, just not quite as good as some of the other restaurants we ate at in the area. The food was solid, the bartender took pretty good care of us as well. It is a great location and view of the water out back. I think the restaurant has room to improve to equal the hotel and location. The staff was very nice as well.
My husband and I have just had the most restorative weekend at Blue Rock. The views are superb, the food sensational - so much flavour in every bite, and the team were so friendly and welcoming they made our stay a joy - thank you!
We came primarily to visit Shenandoah NP and to hike old rag, and Blue Rock was ideally located for that as well as being the perfect place for a glass of something cold after the hike. Would highly recommend.

I can’t say enough, Blue Rock had great food and lovely lovely lovely service. The main hostess of the restaurant was a superb person, who engaged my husband and I during our dinner. The quality of the food was excellent and the views from the property exactly what you want. We will return, and we will recommend Blue Rock in the future.
