I love the fact that it is locally owned and operated. The attention to detail that they put into each dish would literally make you feel like you were standing in New Orleans. The staff is courteous and polite, which gives you welcoming vibes as soon as you hit the door. So pull up order anything on the menu and I promise it won’t disappoint and before you leave, you gotta get a dirty lemonade.

The lady that owns this place has so much passion about cooking and I love it. I happen to get fingerprinted at her 2nd business and learned about the Gumbo Hut. It took me minute with my schedule, to finally order and she did not disappoint. With family and self origins from New Orleans to Memphis, this exudes good ole southern cuisine. This is the most delicious food I’ve had in Waynesboro so far! Perfect flavor, perfect texture, and legit spicy if you ask for it! Michelle and Tyla were friendly and cool, and we had such a great time chatting with them! We will be repeat customers for sure!!
