When I get homesick....After 23+ years away from my moms cooking in Germany....Ingrid steps in, the Jaegerschnitzel....or the Wurstplatte....or just plain Spaetzle and her killer potato salad is what gets you going....she fills you up till your eyes pops out and then serves some desert that is almost illegal.....its so good!!!Down to earth real German food from down to earth people....Love it!!!!!***
Authentic German cuisine, nestled in a small Weber City neighborhood.A lot a love and attention to detail goes into each dish. You will feel like you are eating in someone's home. Come see for yourself how nice of an experience Gasthaus Edelweiss is.Reservations can be weeks in advance, but it is well worth it. Cash only, no cards.

The restaurant was exceptionally clean. We were acknowledged right away, seated and the menu was explained. The meal was delicious and cooked to perfection. Ingrid is a wonderful chef and very sweet. We were very pleased and will return.
