We went today to try Duck Donuts (location Dayton, Ohio)for the first time. I walked in carrying a coupon that I received in the mail from a local realtor who I know prsonally. Before I even made it to the counter, the girl at the register said "I have bad news for you, we're under new management and won't take your coupon". I said are you kidding? I just drove an HOUR to get here and you won't honor the coupon? She said no, sorry. I refused to even try...

I love a donut or 2 every now and then with a fresh cup of coffee. I got a boardwalk and another fan favorite. My 1st bite to my last tasted like I was eating pure sugar. I would think kids would love them but much too sweet for me. For my money it’s Jupiter donuts every time.

With all the hype I heard about this place I was expecting more, I liked the doughnut but the texture ruined it for me. Maybe it did not cook enough or something but maybe I will give it a try another day. Not in a rush to go back though.
