Stopped in last night to grab some food to go. It was a very busy Saturday night. The staff did a great job getting me seated and taking my order. The kitchen was able to get my food out in a very quickly!

We came in with our family, including 2 littles, and let them know we were in a bit of a hurry. We ordered everything upfront (drinks, appetizers, and mains) for us all in our first interaction with the server, expecting our clear communication would make it back to the kitchen that mains needed to get prepared and served soon after the appetizers. This is not a stuffy restaurant, but it is a SERIOUS restaurant. We were very impressed with the cooking coming out of this kitchen: Creative, beautifully balanced, everything properly cooked, fried, dressed, punchy but not overseasoned. Inventive preparations and combinations but not precious -- at its core flavorful and satisfying. No notes.

Food came out a bit too slowly but everything worth the wait.
