Astronomical Pancake House

This is a cute restaurant with very nice customer service. The astronomical pancakes are HUGE! They are filling and good but I definitely couldn't finish. The bacon and grits were delish. The grits were creamy and different but delicious. The home fries weren't good because they're basically baked fries. No onions or green peppers with them and they were cut like french fries versus home fries which are cut up small and pan fried with onions and green peppers. My husband had the Hungry Man breakfast and he enjoyed it and finished it all. Lastly just for the 2 of us, it was $64 for breakfast! Ca-Razy. We won't be going back but thankful for the nice visit.

Still a great place for breakfast. I had stuffed French Toast with strawberries. Very good, not obnoxiously sweet.

you are not in the mood for pancakes or waffles, go somewhere else. I've never visited for lunch. There isn't much selection if you are not going to eat pancakes or waffles.

Every meal here has been very good, and the service is excellent. Even when busy, they make you feel like you are not forgotten and your food is being prepared.

The cashier is directly in front of you as ypur enter. There are two sitting areas (left and right). If you are bringing more than four people, let them know and they will try to sit you together.

Their omelets are good. And they have the standard hamburger, sandwiches, and salads for lunch.

Be sure to check the specials listed on the chalkboard. It is near the entrance, down and to your left as you enter. Lots of good things to try.

Coffee was good and they are quick with the refills and warmers.

The pancakes my husband had was the same size of the plate. They serve 2 pancakes at a time. My bacon and cheese omelet was really good. The grits was very good. I never had grits like that before. Nice and buttery.

The best breakfast place we visited whole on our trip . We had a bad experience yesterday at a different , this one made up for it . Service was awesome , food was incredible, the waitress was so nice !!!

Good Restaurant, but kinda surprised to find out you aren't able to substitute... For Example, I had wanted to substitute bacon instead of sausage for a side and was told it wasn't allowed..
