Astronomical Pancake House

Simply amazing. Food was out of this world. Waitress was super helpful with recommendations. Coffee was really good, and our cups never ran empty. Portions were plentiful. I can't wait to return.

Yes, the pancakes are huge, but they were like concrete. You can always tell when a pancake is going to be tough and chewy when you can’t cut it with a fork. Awful! The coffee did not taste fresh like the pot hadn’t been cleaned in a while.

So I’m a chef . Visiting Williamsburg Va., and I decided to try “Astronomical Pancake house” let me 1st start by saying they actually live up to there name . Setting dinning room decor is upgraded from traditional pancake house lighting elegant , service spot on multiple table touches . This place has a bright future ahead of them . The food was great and spot on presentation was great I had the hungry man special and had a hard time finishing. So if you find yourself in Williamsburg Va . This is a must for all you foodies out there “Astronomical Pancake house “ gets an Amazing (5 star ) review from Chef. Gary

We love it here. One pancake is enough for me. They are huge. Waffle is excellent. Never disappointed. Usually 8 or 9 of us and they always take good care of us.

My kids loved this place and server was famtastic which is why I am giving it a 4 star instead of 3 star. The pancakes were impressive to look at. However, I myself could care less about size and presentation. I'm all about the taste and these pancakes were dry and tough. Everything else was great and they even made sure they had something for my daughter who had an egg allergy.

The Greek omelette was amazing, the pancakes fluffy and delicious, the bacon was perfectly crispy. We had a table full of food and we ate every bite. Good coffee too! They were super busy but the service was good and everyone was friendly. I wish I lived closer so I could go back!

Been twice, and both times were great! Food was better than average breakfast fare, and the servers are outstanding. Love that we can opt to get just 1 of the ginormous pancakes (price reduced). The bounty of fruit on the fruit pancakes is tremendous. Totally worth the trip from NN.
