Outstanding seafood, a welcoming atmosphere, and impeccable service. Easily one of the best seafood restaurants in Williamsburg. Already looking forward to my next visit!
Alice was amazing at offering her guidance for some options. We had numerous appetizers and entrees for our group. The pork belly /fried oysters with pimento cheese grits were a table favorite! This was better than some previous experiences in chef table experience !
We dined at Berret’s for my wife’s birthday dinner party and it was absolutely amazing, the starters and entrees were all delicious, one of the best experiences we all enjoyed was our Waiter James, we were a party of nine. Everyone was very well pleased with the service we all said it was superb, thank you James for a wonderful birthday experience for my wife’s dinner party, if we’re ever in the Restaurant in the future we certainly hope you’re our waiter.👏🏾👏🏾

Berret's Seafood Restaurant and Taphouse Grill offers fresh and flavorful seafood dishes with impressive presentation. The attentive service ensures a pleasant dining experience, with special attention to dietary needs. The shrimp and grits dish is a standout, while the warm cobbler with cinnamon, fresh peaches, and strawberries provides a comforting dessert. The charming ambiance and excellent service make it a favorite spot in Williamsburg, worth returning to for another memorable meal.
The menu features delicious choices, including the pork belly and fried oysters with pimento cheese grits, which are popular among guests. The staff, including the knowledgeable Brandon, provides superb service, making sure guests have a wonderful experience, whether celebrating a birthday or simply enjoying a meal. The friendly and accommodating staff is well-known, and the menu also includes a porch chop with apricot sauce and creamy rice that complements the fish dishes. While inside decor could use some updating, the overall food quality remains excellent both indoors and outside. Prices are competitive with other restaurants in Williamsburg, and the restaurant offers a gluten-free menu, appreciated by those with celiacs. The house white wine is priced higher than expected at $14, but the overall dining experience continues to impress.
