We were in town for a Volleyball tournament and our team parents & players went here for breakfast one morning. My husband said the cinammon waffle was the best he'd ever had. My omelette was cooked perfectly and the rye toast was delicious. I recommend and would go back if I was in the area.

I've only ever had breakfast here, but I've never been disappointed. The menu is large, and so are the portions. A party of 2 with average appetites could easily split the breakfast platter and be quite satisfied. If you happen to have a gluten allergy, they do a good job with substitutions and preventing cross contamination. I actually look forward to the gluten free waffles.

I need to tell you about my first visit to the Capitol pancake house. Ann provided excellent customer service. And the food was cooked perfectly and very delicious. On top of all that I didn't have to wait long at all for my food maybe 5 minutes.

I wasn't sure at first when we pulled into the parking lot. Few cars and next to the budget inn. But I was pleasantly pleased. Very clean and the food was amazing.

Will say that our order came out super fast and when you're hungry and ready to eat that makes a guy happy. I got a breakfast burrito that was pretty tasty but a few of the others I was with said their food didn't have much flavor. We've only been here twice but I've enjoyed it both times. Was easy on the wallet and service was great!

We visited this place in Oct 2020 and been looking forward to our return since. It didn't disappoint then and theis visit was the even better. Come ready to wait and ready to eat. The food is cooked with love ?. When I say my catfish was hot, OMG. Seasoned and delicious ?. Hubby had the pork chops fried well with a side of pecan pancakes. Our son had the waffle with sausage patties cooked well. Everything was delicious we will returned again.

The owner is very personable and the staff was great at getting us in and orders taken fairly quickly. The fried chicken is amazing! It's not greasy or heavy feeling. Pancakes are huge. The Philly omelette was a great size with lots of filling. The breakfast sampler was delicious with great portions. The steak was also delicious. The place gets busy, but it's worth the wait.Kid-friendliness: They do a great job a trying to seat and serve families with kids quickly. They understand the dining out with kids struggle.
