We celebrated our uncle's birthday here. Uncle's loves crab. This was yhe ideal place. Service is excellent. There are lots of food choices even for those non crab lovers. Its an exceptional buffet boasting lots of food choices, literally something for everyone. A little pricey, but worth it.

After the Pandemic these type of places just ain’t the same. Food quality and taste is lacking. Crab legs were small and salty and unless you can get food hot when it 1st comes out you will be disappointed. Use to be fire now it’s just a bit below average.

My family was at the Williamsburg location .We were very disappointed in the food . The crab legs were overcooked just like the shrimp neither would come out of the shell without a lot of work . the desert cakes and pudding was off too . This was very disappointing because 4 years ago this place was spot on . The food is now bland and overcooked . The fried oysters were low quality and full of the green goo which is acceptable unless its overpowering and too prevalent , which it was. Even the steak was flavorless . I always looked forward to Captain Georges from Myrtle beach to VA beach to Williamsburg , this location in Williamsburg needs coaching on food preparation. The serving staff was very good and filled drinks took away used plates and was courteous so I left a 20% tip for them however the head cook/chef has left much to be desired .

Very disappointed in the food except the fried oysters were great. Fried shrimp, scallops and clam strips were like frozen grocery store fried seafood. Crab legs were small. I got a couple of spoonfuls of the Shrimp pasta salad - one shrimp- and i had to dig around for that one.
In all the years that they have been open and I have been there, this had to be my worst experience.
Today was very disappointing
But I am sure I will try one more time.

I have been going to this restaurant for over 30 years at leat once a year on a family trip. The staff is always friendly. They have great food. Ample parking with easy handicap access. A they also have a great drink selection with a great coffee and kahlua to finish dinner. Remember to tip your server well. They work really hard to keep your drinks full and your table clean. Cheers!!

Wonderful sea food buffet. The walls are decorated with portraits in old American style. The service is great, the food is great.

Food hasn't changed from visit several.years ago. Nothing exceptionally great about it ... desserts were sub par- baklava was hard hardt! Syrawberry were few - to - fine on the supposed strawberry shortcake and the cobblers were to cool in temperature...to deserve icecream even if it were made available. We were a part of 10--tables are tooo to close together for the area we seemed to be seated per other long, parties of sveral were also seated. Backs of chairs nearly touching so getting up to revisit food area was a reason in itself to be reluctant. Our waitress however was very attentive.
...visit Aberdeens!

I could crush 6 pounds of crab legs per day, per month , per my freaking life bro.
9/28/29 - Sadly this will be our last time dining at the Williamsburg restaurant. The quality of food has increasingly declined over the past couple of years. My wife and I dined there on 9/19 and got there at 4p when they opened. The crab legs tasted old, they were cold and very salty. I couldn't believe this considering they were open for only 5 minutes. In addition, the shrimp was mushy and not deveined. It leads me to believe that they were re-heated, old or both. The Seafood Chesapeake and Crab imperial were dry and untasty. The fried seafood items were not prepared fresh but heated from what appears to be a frozen offering. We thought this was an anomoly so we went back for my wife's Birthday on 9/28. No change in quality. The restaurant was surprisingly empty for a Sunday so perhaps others are seeing the same. I don't know if you are under new ownership/management but the quality of your buffet does not match the $49 you are charging per adult. If it wasn't for our server Dylan, I would have disputed the auto gratuity and not paid it but I cannot blame the server who was more than attentive during our last visit. In addition, having a time share representative there is very resortish. I didn't particularly like her asking if I wanted a reimbursement for my meal. I quickly thought, were you seated with us to discern our disdain for our meal?

Great atmosphere and great food. Food was awesome and there is a large variety available. Even if you don't like seafood, there's plenty of other options. If you do like seafood, then you are going to be in heaven. Remember, it's a marathon, not a sprint, food is replaced and fresh constantly.
