Charly's Airport Restaurant

Charly's can almost be classified as a destination. It's a cute place with a great atmosphere and the staff and the food couldn't be any better. The bonus is you have an opportunity to see the small airplanes flying in and out of the airport. Charly's is on my bike route and I usually stop and reward myself with the special about once a week. It's half the reason for the ride.

We got here at the end of the day and they were out of a few things but they took some off our check because of this. The service was really good and the food was solid otherwise. Definitely recommend

Such a great idea for families with kids if you’re white. Felt very unwelcome and like they wanted us to walk out and the only thing they knew about us was the color of our skin. Not worth the disrespect.

So disappointed because I was really excited to take my kids here. This place was recommended to me by several people. Stood in a random line for 20 minutes and no one from the restaurant staff did as much as even make eye contact with me. The couple in front of me gave up and left. I started thinking I was In the wrong place to get checked in. I eventually stopped a man walking by to see if I was suppose to seat myself or check in somewhere. He picked up the sign that said “wait to be seated” and pointed at it, in my face, like I was an idiot. He said he was the chef, and that there was only one waitress, and that I needed to be patient, and stormed off. Literally that’s all that was said to me from any of the staff there. I was so disappointed, I had only heard good things about the place, and I was already prepared to wait, I just didn’t know if I was in the proper spot TO wait. We ended up leaving and going to Pierces BBQ, which was also busy, but friendly and kind. (And delicious) I completely understand being short staffed, and being overwhelmed by people showing up on such a pretty day. But that was our first time there and it was a hot mess. I completely got the vibe that they were not interested in my business, and that they had a lot of regulars to keep them afloat, so I was completely shocked to see them asking for business on fb when I searched them up.

First time visiting, and everything tasted great! Plenty to choose from. The fresh bread was awesome! Service was fast and friendly. Seating along the runway is definitely a favorite. Recommend stopping in by plane or car for some great food! Don't forget the pie! ?

After hearing great things about Charly's, we decided to try them out for lunch last Saturday. Unfortunately, we were pretty disappointed with our experience. We were there for over 30 minutes before our order was taken. Once we did put our orders in, we received completely flat sodas only to be told "sorry, the ice melts in the machine towards the end of the day, so it's like that." We were there for about 1.5 hours for two sandwiches, a hot dog and flat sodas.

This was such a perfect place for story time! My son and I had an amazing time today at Charly's Airport Restaurant. After a story, playing, and lunch we got to go out and look at some planes up close all while there were planes constantly coming in and out on the runway! I got their French Dip sandwich and it was really good

Always great food and nice people. Fun to watch the planes taking off and landing as well

We love the fresh baked bread, delicious sandwiches, good beer selection, and watching all of the unique airplanes take off and land throughout the day. It's a great place for kids as they have a playground right next to the restaurant and it's great for a fun date with your love. We enjoy biking here from our house.

My son loves all things airplanes so we will take him to lunch at Charley’s. It is lunch and entertainment all it one. Food is great. Watching planes come in and out is even better. The outdoor seating is right at the runway. They also have a play ground right at the outdoor seating.
