We had a wonderful dinner here last night. My husband started with the oysters and I had the garden greens. I had crab cakes which were some of the best I've ever tasted and DH had the seafood pye which he raved about. Everything was cooked to perfection. We finished our meal with the chocolate tort. It was a totally unique dining experience and we would definitely return next time we are in the area.
Full of colonial charm. The restaurant has an amazing atmosphere and good food. There are vegetarian options as well. But the best part was the excellent service by Amanda! She made our meal a fun and memorable experience! Will definitely come back.
I didn't catch his name but our server was a large jolly guy (he referenced himself this way) who was absolutely the best server we have ever had anywhere. He walked us through all our menu choices, treated our kiddos so well, chatted with us. The atmosphere is so simple but delightful and I love that they keep it era appropriate with decor and dishwate, etc. The Cherry Bounce is the best cocktail I've ever had, and I'm a cocktail snob! The fried chicken is divine....
