This was a favorite years ago the food is good. But it is really run down and dingy. Booths are all ripped and the fried food smell is over powering. Unfortunate since it is one of the few non- Mexican latin restaurants in the area.
The food was not really what I expected, the table was a little dirty and after they served us the food the employees disappeared and when it was time to pay I had to call several times because there was no one to assist us.
I hadn’t been here in a few years and WOW!! It threw me for a loop. El Sabrason is one of the few restaurants in Williamsburg that offers pupusas the last time I had them they were small and dry…THIS TIME however!!! They got slightly bigger and greasier and if you know anything about pupusas you know the greasier the better. I don’t know if they changed cooks or what but I have been going there more often because their pupusas are so good and their food is amazing. I just...
