We have been eating at this restaurant for a few years now and have always enjoyed the innovative food and unusual combinations of ingredients. We were for an anniversary dinner with our son and daughter and were seated at a round table more suitable for five people; not conducive to conversation due to its size. Plus, it was right in front of the kitchen area; not the best location in our opinion. Also, the ambience is not there anymore. For some reason, the color of the walls...
Absolutely wonderful experience! The special halibut was incredible. The dessert of chocolate mouse was a masterpiece of flavor, texture, and surprise. Every morsel of food was a treat. Our waiter was so fun and very attentive. Thank you for making the dinner a real highlight of our trip to Williamsburg. We can't wait to dine at Fat Canary again!
Such a wonderful, relaxed and delicious experience. Great oysters, peach-goat cheese-local greens salad and outrageous pork chop with apples, onions, a goat cheese bread pudding with the most delicious brown sauce. Service was wonderful, including a very gracious attitude about us sharing all three courses. Looking forward to our next visit!
