This was our second visit to the Fat Canary and it did not disappoint. The ambiance and vibe is elegant but relaxed. Our table ordered a variety of appetizers, entrees and desserts and each were excellent. Specific accolades for the tuna appetizer and chocolate mousse cake dessert. Our servers were friendly and efficient. We will make The Fat Canary a regular stop on our trips to Williamsburg!
We celebrated our 49th wedding anniversary with this dinner. We ALWAYS make a dinner reservation at Fat Canary when making a trip to Colonial Williamsburg. A copy of the evening's menu, signed by all the staff, was on our table for us to take home as a memento... how nice! The selections are extensive - quite a challenge to choose what to order. Appetizers are extensive, but we started with a Manakintowne greens and a Hearts of Romaine salad. The Halibut special was outstanding...
Friendly staff and our server was very knowledgeable! We both enjoyed a well made cocktail. The ambiance was cozy but not pretentious. Our food was delectable and had generous portions, even the scallops. Highly recommend!
