It's a diner with a long history in and near Williamsburg. The food was fine - it's a diner. They have a few things on the menu you don't normally see. The corn cakes are the only ones I remember. They are vegetarian friendly AND conscious. They have no problem making our food separately from the meat. They have enough Greek food on the menu to suggest they are Greek owners. They are Turkish. Why don't they have some Turkish food on the menu?? The waitress...
I will admit I have passed this place a hundred times and while the staff is friendly and the food is ok. I'll probably keep this one on my maybe list. I had the Big Chili omelet with toast, and while it was filling, it was not as satisfying. I loved our waitress, and even though she seemed to be the only one working, she held a conversation and was personable to every patron who was there. We did not end up finishing our food. My son had the french toast kids breakfast...

The fried okra and chicken were definitely made with southern charm and love.
Everything was fresh and delicious.
Look forward to coming back and trying them again.
