Monday is the pasta and hamburger night. This was our 3rd visit and as usual enjoyed our meal. The menu is very limited and I would love to see maybe a dinner salad as an entree. I had the meatballs and could not finish. So good. My other half had the burger special and enjoyed that as well. Thank you.
We had a wonderful dinner there with friends. The food and service were topnotch and the wine we selected was awesome. We don't ordinarily order dessert but could not pass it up when we heard what was on the dessert menu...scrumptious!
Loved the experience and food was top notch! Very convenient to dine at this restaurant when you're staying at the Wedmore place
We had a fantastic meal and even better service. Our waitress was fantastic and made the evening!
The employees were amazing, the food was delicious, and the atmosphere was perfect. We will absolutely come back again.
A wonderful surprise ending to a fine day in Yorktown and Colonial Williamsburg. We went to the fine Williamsburg Winery before moving over to the restaurant, and were then wowed by the service, the food and the ambience. The meal started with a tasty amuse bouche, and then we all had different and excellent appetizers. The salmon, crab cakes and pasta entrees were all very well prepared and tasty. Desserts were diverse and all delectable. Jenna, our waitress, was a gem, always sensing the right time to come and offer us something more.
Jenna was an awesome server. She informed us of the specials and was prompt in her attention to us. The food was delicious and we definitely will be back. Thank you!
Once again really enjoyed our meal at GAT. My burger very good, wife's turkey with brie really good as well but she misses the granny smith apples on it. Governor's White is a very refreshing wine.
Chefs new fall pasta was delicious. Aurora was a delightful server. She was friendly and professional and funny. One of our favorite places in Williamsburg.
Lovely setting in a vineyard, good food, good wine and super pleasant staff. They gave a little appetizer tasting nibble to start your meal.

We visited Gabriel Archer Tavern for an anniversary meal while staying at the winery. Having had a pleasant dining experience a few years ago, we were excited to return but unfortunately were very disappointed in the quality of food this time. Would not recommend the pesto pasta or hangar steak, which is what my husband and I ordered. Our appetizers were fine but lacked flavor or memorability. On a positive note, we were seated promptly, and service was friendly and attentive.
We decided to make a reservation for dinner since we were going to the haunted cellar walk. We were a little disappointed in the very, very limited dinner menu for food. The best part were the mussels and the 2 little appetizers they gave us which were delicious. The pork chop was OK a little dry. I had the basil pasta which had way too much pesto and not enough olive oil. We could've also use some extra bread. As always, the Cabernet franc wine was delicious. We were Very, very disappointed in the very short and not prepared haunted cellar walk. If this was your first year doing it, there should definitely be more practice and the walk was very very short. We love your wines though!!!
Great service and quality food in such a lovely setting. Always a treat to stop at the winery while in Williamsburg!
One of my favorite spots for exceptional cuisines. Wine pairings available for all dishes.
I ordered the crab cake entree and was very sick all night. This is the only food I had that evening. I noticed the crab cakes were overcooked, but wasn't worried about it at such a pricey establishment. It was a rough first night of my weekend away. Not ideal.
