King's Arms Tavern Reviews
We enjoyed another exceptional dining experience at the King’s Arms Tavern this evening, marking our fourth visit. The outstanding cuisine and service were truly commendable.
Exceptional dining experience!
Historical location, true to history (real candle at the table, pewter cutlery, authentically inspired food).
Delicious meal!
Presentation by server and roving entertainment put an absolute blue ribbon on the evening!
AMAZING experience, atmosphere, people - and the foooood!!!! OMGaaaawd. Stupid good. Peanut soup, like wtf, right? Nope. Delish! Got the Prime - and it literally was melt in your mouth stellar! King's Arms Tavern offers a unique dining experience that takes guests back in time. Located in the heart of Colonial Williamsburg, the restaurant provides a beautiful historic setting with modern amenities. Reviewers appreciate the historical input from the staff, who are properly dressed, exceedingly friendly, and entertaining. The ambiance aligns perfectly with its "18th century" location, featuring an attractive room illuminated by candlelight and live music, including a harpist playing colonial tunes.
The menu may be limited and high-priced, but the food is described as delicious, with superb entrees like roast beef and pork shank. While the wine selection is a bit limited, the service is impeccable, making for a memorable experience not to be missed. The room accommodates about 16 guests, and when the door is closed, it is comfortable, though it may get chilly when left open.
Parking can be a challenge, especially for disabled guests, as access to the limited spaces requires navigating a tight driveway. However, there are additional handicapped parking options available nearby. Overall, King's Arms Tavern is praised for its exceptional dining experience and is a place that guests look forward to returning to, especially for special occasions.
