I am pretty passionate about the food that I eat, constantly on the prowl for the next good restaurant to add to my list. Unfortunately here in the Williamsburg/Yorktown region there is a large demographic of older people with a lot of money and underdeveloped palates. This has fostered a scene of elevated dining experiences that are more ambience than substance. This was our first time here and the food was amazing! Not many restaurants serve foie gras and I was extremely happy to have been able to order it. And having souffle for dessert can't be beat and this is coming from a chocolate lover to boot!
The food is very good. The service needs to up it up a notch to meet the level of the food being presented. Friendly staff, just bring out the dish and clearing should be done properly. Also, coffee should come out with dessert, not long after it was all eaten. Still all and all a wonderful restaurant.
