I’ve been coming to this place for over two years now and it is the only place that I can say for certain has the best Katsu around . I always get the chicken Katsu with white rice and extra Yum Yum sauce and it hits every single time . The staff here are very welcoming, and they always have a smile on their face when I come in. If you’re new to the area and you would love to eat out of amazing hole in the wall, this is definitely the place to go

Great food here! My wife ordered the Chicken Yakisoba, Boba tea, and I ordered Tonkatsu with ramen noodle, and pork protein, and a order of their shumai. Broth had incredible depth of flavor, added chili oil and talk about elevation. The broth flavor really popped with the heat. Their yakisoba was flavorful and the chicken cooked perfectly. Great all around food, def the best ramen in the Hampton Roads area. Worth the drive to Williamsburg. I have found my new fa write ramen place.

Hits the spot. Quick service. Price is right. A college students favorite dinner spot. The sushi rolls really scratch that itch.

Didn’t try the ramen, but had some hibachi with extra vegetables. Great service and prices.

Nice and casual little joint, but the tonkotsu broth with pork ramen hardly tastes like ramen at all. Shockingly sweet and bland. With carrots on top for some reason. I’ve had tastier noodles come out of a $3 bag.

When I moved to the area back in March, I decided to give this place a try. I've been going back ever since. My favorite is the Karagge (nice and crispy), pork dumplings, and the katsu chicken. The sushi is great too. Haven't had a bad thing yet! The pricing is super affordable and it has a nice chill vibe inside. You can order to go or eat there. It is small inside and we tend to go early in the dinner rush, but they turn out food very quickly, so there's never a long wait. Definitely try them!

Loved the character macarons! We dined in and all of our food was so delicious. The chicken hibachi has a very tasty light flavor to it. Will definitely stop by when in town again!

Udon and Ramen is better than the sushi. I would give a 3.5 as a rating if I could. 3 for sushi and 4 for noodle dishes. Staff and service were excellent, though.

Recommended dishes: Miso Soup, California Roll, Seaweed Salad, Chicken Yakisoba, Tempura Shrimp

Oishii is our family's go-to place when we are craving quality Japanese food for a great price. There is nothing we haven't liked, though we often return to our favorites - beef hibachi, chicken yakisoba, and chicken katsu. When we give our kids a choice of where to eat - this is one of the most frequent picks!

Visiting Williamsburg for the 4th of July and found this little spot for dinner. The food was FANTASTIC!! We had a couple hibachi plates, a miso ramen and a tuna poke bowl. All of them were phenomenal, so much flavor in each and even though they were busy the food still came out pretty fast. Would definitely recommend!
