I have visited Paul's deli for 25 years plus.They have young lady,Sara Lynn who is beyond excellent. She consistently checks that your food is good ,and you never have an empty glass.She is incredibly efficient and polite.It has become my go to place when I visit Williamsburg. Thank you Sara for your stellar service.
So this is a classic W&M hangout. I find it comforting that the food quality and coolness of the pitchers of beer has remained constant for the nearly 4 decades I've dropped in on this institution.
Known for hot sandwiches named for local locations or historic figures. They just do it right, my goto is the Hot Holly sub.
