Food was delicious! Burgers, fries and onion rings were all very good!
My son had the chicken nuggets and normally have to fight with him to eat new chicken nuggets and he ate them without a fight.
Someone here said the crab cakes were delicious as well.
A little pricey but what isn't these days.
Definitely recommend!

What an incredibly disappointing meal. I’ve walked past retros plenty of times and made a mental note to walk in and try this place. Parking is atrocious, but it’s like that for every business in vicinity so I won’t hold that against them.
The food was actually not too bad, but the portions were not sufficient for the price. Two hot dogs with toppings, two lemonades and a side of fries and a side of onion rings cost me 43 dollars!
Plenty of signage in the restaurant indicating they had fresh lemonade, when in fact they just served me two cups of tap water with a few slices of lemon in each. To get good hot dogs at a great price, go about twenty minutes east to hot dog king.

Best hot dogs you can find anywhere. I am writing this because some magazine or media outlet just said Retro’s has the best hot dogs in Williamsburg. True. The article listed the best hot dogs by 10 major areas in Virginia. I’d had hot dogs at half the places listed and Retros was better than all of them. I think they might have the best hot dog in Virginia. And don’t forget to buy a hand squeezed carbonated lime aid with your dog. Sublime.

Omg it was so delicious and very plentiful. I couldn't eat all of my chicken and goat cheese salad. Everyone was so nice.

Oddly enough, between 2 and 4 pm most of the dining in the historical area is closed. Most of the dining in the merchant area is packed. This place was open, had seating and really met the spot. Very good comfort food. Service was fadt.

I have food allergies and they were extremely up front about what they could and could not accommodate, very knowledgeable about cross contamination and everything. We didn't end up eating there because of the allergies but the staff's candor and awareness were impressive.
Good quick lunch. Had a wrap and it was tasty.

I typically don't do reviews, but this place was on point. Food was incredible. Price is average for what you'd pay at McDonald's for the same, but the food quality is way better.

My family loves Retros and their menu has something for everyone.
2 kiddos - 11 and 12 - no trouble finding stuff for them to eat.

I mean, it's ok, nothing special. Kinda easy to warm up a hot dog, put it on a bun, dump a bunch of relish on it and call it a Chicago dog. Having said that, the ratio of relish to dog was obsene. Had better tasting dogs at the hot food line in Costco (seriously). Frozen custard tasted like chocolate powder was just added and none of my 4 kids could finish the small sized cup. The ice cream sundae was almost tasteless (thats quite hard to do!). There's just no effort here in terms of food quality.
Amazing food, the fish platter was so good, and the best crabcake I've ever had. The fries were really good, and the staff were nice, 10/10
Excellent food near the Williamsburg Historic Area.
