I'm still trying to figure out why there were so many flies at Sal's restaurant. I get it, it's fly season, but that's no excuse for them to be interrupting my meal. At one point, I was so annoyed that I almost got up and left. It was really unpleasant, and I'm not a fan of dining with flies buzzing around me.
Having dined here just a week ago, I can confidently say this is the finest Italian restaurant I have ever visited. Coming from New York—a region renowned for its exceptional Italian cuisine—I can attest that this establishment sets a distinctly higher standard that far surpasses the rest. I highly recommend it to anyone seeking an extraordinary dining experience.
As an ex NYC dweller I love Sal's! They have great Pizza, especially their Sicilian crust. Their pastas are always delicious and I finally tried an Eggplant Parmesan sub and it was almost as good as my memory of my Aunt Angie's from my childhood. Almost. The service is always great and oh my! The Tiramisu is one of the most perfect last bites.
