It's a beautiful hotel and the restaurant was conveniently located in walking distance of Colonial Williamsburg. It's upscale and very quiet. At 5pm on Labor Day, there was next to no one there for dinner, but the dining room is intimate and the service it top notch, making it a very lovely experience even with the room being quiet empty. The food was very good and perfectly prepared. My husband had the duck and I had the picanha. Again, wonderful service, food and location.
We had an exceptional Brunch experience in every respect! I would love to have every meal at the Inn if I could. The atmosphere is elegant and peaceful; the food is fresh, tasty, and healthy; and the staff is professional and courteous. We very much look forward to returning.
Went for dinner and gave it a mixed review. Wife started with Ham and Biscuts. Reported biscuts were a bit dry and both biscuts and ham were salty. She then had Melon Gazpacho which was good. Her main course was Lobster Tail which she described as dry and very spicy. Finished with Peach Galette which she rated okay, but would have been better if served warm with ice cream.
I would rate my meal higher. Started with Shrimp Coctail, followed by Corn Bisque....
