My favorite lunch place as a grad student at The College of William and Mary. Fifteen years later and the only change is they bottle their house dressing for purchase. A jar of dressing and a bag of 99 cent bread ends tookbme down memory lane.
I never come to Williamsburg, but my friend who works over here mentioned The Cheese Shop, so I had to visit. I ordered a smoked turkey sandwich on focaccia with havarti, greens, and the house dressing.
The dressing is a secret blend of spices, mayo, and mustard. I am not a fan of either mayo or mustard, but I need jars upon jars of this sauce in my pantry.

Great food. I got the turkey & cheese sandwich on sourdough bread with Swiss cheese & the house dressing. It was delicious! I also had some salt & vinegar chips and Belgian chocolate covered Oreo. Everything was so good! I would definitely recommend for those that love sandwiches and other sweet treats, cheese and wine. The staff that worked there were very friendly as well.
