This place is about to close and gosh we are sad about it. Visiting Williamsburg, this one caught our eye as we drove by. Throwback to Seafood Shanty for Philly locals. The kitschy decor (currently up for auction), charming wait staff, dessert trays, the birthday party for the lady turning 100… they don’t make them like this anymore.
Excellent service. Solid menu selection. Great parking. Phenomenal dessert selection.
I ordered the NY strip with crab cake and fries. It was an excellent choice.
Unfortunately they will be closing at the end of June. They had a great run since 1980.

We were visiting from out of town and had such a wonderful experience. We’re so disappointed they’re closing in August because we’d love to come back. The fresh caught fish and cocktails were delicious. The building had such character. Wishing the family happiness in their future endeavors!
