went with my wife after an appointment. Both of uswent chicken and waffles. we couldt believe the flavors of the waffles, chicken and sausage gravy. it was the best I've had and highly recommend for a fried chicken fix. We will return to try anything and everything else.
We stopped in for a late lunch to go. Ordered the Hungry for History southern platter. Great price. So, so good, every bit of it! 3 generations of the family agreed! Super friendy staff, clean and orderly eating areas inside and outside. Quick service.
I was there before and thought it was wonderful. Was in the area again and stopped and it really lost its appeal. I had the 3 meat platter with chicken, pork bbq and brisket. It kinda lacked taste. Just wasn't what I remembered or expected out of smoked meats. Maybe it was just an off day.
