I went to celebrate a friend's birthday.
The food was great. I had tacos (one shredded duck and one carnitas). They were very flavorful. I had a passion fruit sangria and it was delicious.
The waitress, Zulmi, was very attentive and friendly.
It was a great experience! I would definitely recommend it and I will be back.

I get the el puerco every time, and it’s delicious. A little disappointed by what’s supposed to be elote, but they have other, better sides. The firehouse wings are also a 5/5 with the grill/ char on them.
Talking with my wife earlier about the downtown Winchester dining scene and we both agreed that Fuego is the only place we would definitely recommend without any hesitation. Everywhere else is middling, at best. The historic firehouse building is cool but the decor is otherwise fairly standard. Service is generally very pleasant but can be slightly overbearing at times; they will check in on you frequently when not busy. The food is what you come here for, though.
